Although not attractive looking (not as neat as TweakUI), this handy piece of freeware is cut out for power users. FreshDevices’ FreshUI is in many ways like Microsoft’s TweakUI. It has oodles of options sorted into 6 main categories for a great tweaking experience. These are: Applications, Explorer, Hardware, Windows Interface, Windows System and Covering Your Track. Please note that you need to register (for free!) if you would like to use it indefinitely. Just click here. Fill the form and the registration code will be sent to your inbox. Don’t worry about giving away your e-mail address. It’ll be in safe hands. FreshUI is also apt for those of you who’re afraid of diving into the registry. So if you’ve always wanted to (but could not) do things like get rid of Windows Messenger, disable the registry, restrict access to certain drives or simply cheat at MS Hearts, FreshUI is certainly your knight in shining armor.
